PAX Prime and Mayfair Games will once again host a Catan Tournament. This year's tournament is a Worldwide Catan Championship (WWCC) Pre-Qualifier. The winner of the tournament will receive complimentary travel, hotel accommodations and show badge (compliments of Mayfair Games) to travel to one of the two WWCC Qualifiers (Origins Game Fair 2012 or Gen Con Indy 2012) to compete for a seat at the WWCC Finals in 2012. WWCC Qualifier at Gen Con Indy - Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium, IndianapolisThu, Aug 05, 2010 - Sun, Aug 08, 2010
Mayfair Games is proud to host a 2010 WWCC Qualifier at Gen Con Indy 2010. Preliminary rounds will take place on Thursday, Aug. 5, Friday, Aug. 6 and Saturday, Aug 7 at 10 a.m. The top finishers from all of the preliminary rounds will move on to the Semi-final Round of 16 on Sunday, August 8 with the top four from that round playing the Final Game later that day. The winner of the Tournament will go to Germany in September to represent the US at the WWCC Tournament. Airfair and hotel accommodation will be provided by Mayfair Games. |

Cape Fear Games is pleased to host a WWCC Pre-Qualifier finals. It will take place on Saturday, June 19, will start at 5pm and the top two pleyers from the two first rond tourneys on June 10 and June 12 will play three rounds to determine the winner. Winner of the June 19 finals will receive a complimentary trip to GenCon Indy in August and compete for a slot in the WWCC Finals in Germany (as well as a complimentary trip to Germany).
