PrezCon 2013 “The Winter Nationals” in our 20th year of offering tournament gaming! PrezCon has been running the NACC qualifier event for many years now and would like you to attend PrezCon and play in our Settlers of Catan event. We offer a travel award of up to $500 on top of the free Hotel and admission into GenCon. Last year we had 93 players in our Settlers event. Please come and see if you have what it takes to win your trip to GenCon! The first round of this event starts Feb 20th. Go to http://www.prezcon.com and hit the schedule link to see the entire Settler of Catan schedule. We will also host our very first pre-con Settlers of Catan event. On Monday Feb 18th 2013 we will host our Variant event. What does that mean you ask? The format for the event will be Swiss. When you sit down your table chooses the settlers variant the table wants to play. You score points based on how well you do in each game. The winner of the Championship plaque will be the person scores the most points over the four rounds of play. PrezCon will run 94 Board game Tournaments over 5 days! We will surely have something for all gamers. 24 hour open Gaming in its new home the Promenade Ballroom. Our Games Library free to all who are attending the con. Our 20th annual Live Game Auction and Auction store will happen Thursday Evening in Giorgio’s & Treetops next to the bar. Mayfair, GMT, Columbia Games, Worthington Games and many more dealers will attend the con starting Friday Feb 22nd 2013 and run until we close Sunday. Whether it is running more demos in the expanded Mayfair Booth in the Dealers Room or running more games in the Mayfair Room, knighting a successful candidate in the Great Mayfair Ribbon Quest or teaching a family how to play a game and have fun together, running giant versions of its games perhaps test you skills in the US Qualifier for the World Wide Catan Championship Qualifier (with a free trip to the World Championship held near Valley Forge, PA as a prize), Mayfair is dedicated to making sure your Gen Con is overflowing with fun!
