Orccon 2013 - Featuring a Catan North American Championship Pre-Qualifier - Sheraton LAX Gateway Hotel, Los AngelesFri, Feb 15, 2013 (12:00 PM) - Mon, Feb 18, 2013 (06:00 PM)
Strategicon's Orccon 2012 is honored to once again host a Pre-Pre-Qualifier for the Catan North American Championship 2013. Players will compete to win a trip to Origins 2013 to play for a seat in the CNAC. The trip includes hotel, 4 day badge to Origins (both sponsored by Mayfair) and air transportation (sponsored by Strategicon). Orccon 2013 will provide attendees with two chances on Saturday and Sunday afternoon to qualify for a seat in the Semi-Finals on Sunday night. Full details are available at the convention website. Come learn other Mayfair games and play many additional ones in our 1,200 game-strong Library! Strategicon will also be hosting a CNAC Pre-Qualifier at Gamex 2013 in May to send a winner to the GenCon Indy 2013 event. Stay tuned for more details! |

DieCon is an annual, St. Louis-area, gaming convention held in the late spring/early summer at Gateway Center in Collinsville, IL (just minutes from downtown St. Louis, MO). Not gaming in the gambling, blow-your-life-savings sense; but gaming in the have-fun-without-paying-too-much sense. We're talking actual, interactive game-playing here! Board Games, RolePlaying Games (RPGs), Collectable Card Games (CCGs) and Miniatures Games. With over 100 different games being played during the three days of our convention, you're sure to find something you like. Join us for a full day of gaming, fun, and fundraising. Play from hundreds of games that will be available from the open game library or bring your own to share. This is a casual event, but there will be some scheduled games, tournaments, game demos, and a charity auction. Sign-Up sheets for events will be posted on site by 10 AM. The Creative Play Project is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization committed to providing table-top games, gaming programs, and training materials to youth clubs and activity centers across the United States. |
